  • Post preview function is pretty bad

In the current form, the preview function for posts is not very useful. It does not even show the linebreaks that distinguish between plain-text paragraphs. This is not just a drawback, but renders the function basically worthless.

And the pop-out/in/up thingie is something to avoid as a matter of principle. Some of the reasons to avoid it:
    - limits the display (when there is a lot of text to view, I need to see everything, i.e. I must be able to display it over the entire viewport of the browser, but the pop-out/in/up thingie is the very definition of not the entire viewport)
    - requires javascript and is thus inaccessible to clients without javascript

I just checked this, and the line breaks show up fine for me.

I now checked in three browsers. Linebreaks show as expected in the one closest to Chrome, but are deleted in others. There is no reason why they should not show up correctly in all browsers.
